Chicago 2020 - Ford Mustang Mach E
The Ford Mustang Mach E is one of 2 cars that I have been dying to see in person, and up close it did not disappoint. I thought it looked good in photos, but I think it is even more appealing in real-life. Sadly though, the Mach E was locked up tight, so all looking was relegated to my eyes. When it was opened for the briefest moment for photography, it was strictly hands-off and definitely no sitting allowed. As a result, I am left wanting more, mostly as a byproduct of the limited exposure I did get being so positive. I wasn’t the only one intrigued by Ford’s upcoming EV, it was swarmed by press all day long. Does Ford have a hit on their hands? The other vehicle with a plug on the Ford stand is the upcoming Escape PHEV. Absolutely no fanfare for the little Escape. I bet I walked by it 10 or more times throughout the day before I realized that it was a PHEV, rather than a run of the mill Escape. I apologize for the photos, the lighting on the display was turned all the way to blue. Can’t wait to see more of the Mustang Mach E.
