Seven Motor Mustang Mach-E Prototype! (With Galleries)

Let me take a moment to totally geek out! Ford introduced the all-electric Mustang Mach-E 1400 (a one-of-a-kind prototype, developed in collaboration with RTR Vehicles) to demonstrate the performance possibilities of electric propulsion. Capabilities that we were already aware of, weren’t we? Still awesome to see them on display though. It follows the all-electric Mustang Cobra Jet 1400. The Mustang Mach-E 1400 name comes from the 1,400 projected peak horsepower. In addition, it can make more than 2,300 lb. of downforce at 160 mph from its SEVEN motors and ultra-high-performance battery. It will make its first appearance at a NASCAR race soon. Ford designed the Mustang Mach-E 1400 to challenge perceptions of what electric vehicles can do with performance tuning and advanced technology, we say job done! Now that the geeking out is done, back to reality for a moment. This vehicle is obviously only a publicity stunt. Having said that, two of my least car interested co-workers were discussing it today, so it worked. In reality, anything that shows the rest of society what we already know, electric cars are incredible, is helpful. Please Ford, take it a step further, and run this thing up Pikes Peak, and make it available to drive in a video game (the Forza Horizon series would be a great pick)! I’ve included the YouTube video, and a couple of galleries below, enjoy!
