Ford Mustang Mach-E - MotorBella 2021

There were a plethora of Ford Mustang Mach E’s at MotorBella 2021. I was able to test drive a Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium eAWD Extended Range, and really enjoyed it! It was just a quick drive around the block, less than 10 minutes total, but I was able to get a feel for the vehicles acceleration, and sample the one pedal driving mode. With one pedal switched on, regen was strong and predictable. The interior is well-finished, and the large touchscreen is quick with crisp graphics. Inside the Ford display in the center of MotorBella, I got to ride shotgun in a Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance as it did its best to replicate its 3.5 second 0-60mph time. Given that it was in the rain, i’m sure we didn’t quite manage that feat, but it took off like a shot in the wet, with barely any tire noise. Very exhilarating. I didn’t get video of my ride around the race track, but I can tell you the GT Performance corners hard and flat around the M1 Concourse track. One last cool Mustang Mach-E moment to share was getting to see the Mach-E 1400 7 motor drift monster up close. It is crazy!
