Porsche Taycan Revealed

Today, Porsche unveiled the production Taycan Turbo and Turbo S sports sedans. Porsche uses the word Turbo to define performance trim levels in their gas cars, and is choosing to do the same here, despite the fact that EVs don’t have turbochargers. The facts: 256-280 miles of range; 0-60MPH in 2.6-3.0 seconds; just under 100kWh battery; dual-motor all-wheel drive; seating for 4. Porsche made sure to point out that these were the first of several variants, expect rear-drive only versions at some point, as well as a Cross-Turismo wagon bodystyle in the future.
