NIO EP9 - Nurburgring Record Lap

This is the lap that VW hopes to beat this summer. They are competing against the 1,341 horsepower NIO EP9. If the name NIO sounds familiar, that’s because you’ve been watching Formula E. They are a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer that competes in the series. They used to be the NextEV team. In addition to the EP9 hypercar, NIO make the ES6 and ES8 crossovers as well.
