Forbidden Fruit - VW XL1

A 2015 Volkswagen XL1 diesel plug-in hybrid is coming up for auction at Silverstone Auctions 2019 Autosport International Sale. Having covered a whopping 312 miles from new, it appears to be in excellent shape. Despite wearing an almost 7 year old design, it looks fresh and new today. I would love to drive one of these, but as they weren’t designed to meet US regulations I’ll be lucky to see one in person.
