Land Rover has announced that their recently launched new Range Rover will be dropping the base 5.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 for a new supercharged V6 borrowed from Jaguar. We feel that this is worth mentioning, as we hear that it offers improvements of 4 mpg city and highway, putting the big Rangey over 20 mpg highway for the first time ever! We can only hope that this new V6 will find its way into the Land Rover LR4, even if we do have to wait for its next iteration.
