Mercedes-Benz Concept EQG - Munich IAA

The gas-powered Mercedes-Benz G-Class is an off-roading icon, with a go anywhere spirit, and a five star cabin. Expect all of that, plus zero-emissions from the eventual production Mercedes-Benz EQG. Though the vehicle presented in Munich is billed as a concept, I fully expect it to make it to production. I would also guess that the version that will go on sale, will be very similar to what you see here, and will be very pricey. Don’t be shocked if there is eventually a Mercedes-AMG EQG that is as fast as it is boxy. I don’t mean to throw this car any shade, I hope they sell as many as they can to replace all the gas-powered G-Classes on the road that are averaging around 15 mpg combined. That sounds snarky too, my apologies. I think the EQG looks great, and I hope they let me drive one someday.
