Mercedes-Benz EQB - Munich IAA

Mercedes-Benz has already shown off the EQB electric crossover, but we are including it here, as they were kind enough to give us a few more details on the U.S. spec EQB. It will arrive in the US in 2022, and will charge from 10-80 percent in 31 minutes. It will have a 66.5 kWh battery pack, which should be good for more than 200 miles of range on the EPA scale. All models will offer dual motor all-wheel drive, but power output will differ depending on trim level chosen. Most excitingly for my family is the fact that it will offer a third row! As of right now, only two full EVs offer three rows of seats, the Tesla Model X and the Tesla Model Y. While I doubt the Mercedes-Benz EQB will be cheap, it would be incredible if it starts anywhere near the gas powered GLB’s $40,000 price-point.
