Ford F-150 Lightning - MotorBella 2021

Getting to ride in the Ford F-150 Lightning prototype was the highlight of my trip to MotorBella 2021. It was quick and composed on the racetrack. Acceleration is instantaneous, as you would expect from a dual motor EV. It charges through corners with a flat and stable feel, and has an overall sporty demeanor that makes you forget it’s a pickup. Happily, I was able to shoot both photo and video of the Lightning pickup. The first video is several passes of the F-150 on the M1 Concourse track shot from the grandstand. The second is one lap of the track from the passenger seat. Enjoy!
