Tesla Model S Plaid Event Tomorrow, Plaid + Canceled
In a series of tweets, Elon Musk announced that the Tesla Model S Plaid handover event tomorrow will be live streamed, at 10PM EST, and that there will no longer be a Model S Plaid +. The reason given for the cancelation of the Plaid + is that the regular Plaid is just too good. Performance wise, I agree, 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds is bonkers already, job done. However, a lot of people were intrigued by the 520 miles range that car was going to offer. Does this make room for some super long range variant in the future? Perhaps. There is also speculation that the event being live-streamed means that there could be a surprise in store as well. The speculation is delicious, production Cybertruck? Or Roadster? Or any number of other things? Guess we will just have to wait and see… 10 pm EST tomorrow, don’t forget, and see you there!

Plaid+ is canceled. No need, as Plaid is just so good.
