Audi A6 E-Tron Concept - Shanghai 2021
The Audi A6 E-Tron Concept was unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2021. Riding on Audi’s upcoming “Premium Platform Electric” or PPE for short. This new platform will underpin many upcoming cars, the first of which should be on sale by the end of next year. The A6 E-Tron Concept sports a 100 kWh battery which Audi say is good for around 400 miles on a charge, and is capable of DC fast charging at 270kWs. Speaking of fast, the concept has 469 hp, and is capable of reaching 60 MPH in less than 4 seconds. The concept is roughly the size of the current gas-powered A6/A7 range, and is rocking a swooping “Sportback” style roof line, making it a very handsome thing to look at. Being a concept, it has all kinds of features that are unlikely to make it to consumers, like the fact that the headlights can be used to project a video game on to a wall that is then played via smartphone. Take away all the crazy concept car features, add smaller aero-wheels, and I think this is a solid look at the next Audi A6. Audi, can you please make it as an Avant (station wagon) as well? Pretty please?
