1,300-Mile 2011 Tesla Roadster 2.5 Sport on Bring-A-Trailer

Fancy owning an almost-new, 10 year old, Tesla Roadster? Here’s your chance! With only 1,318 miles and the very desirable combination of the Sport package and updated styling that all 2011 Tesla Roadsters received I’m sure this will sell for a pretty penny. At the time of writing, the bid is currently at $93,000 USD with 5 days remaining. Check it out below. Enjoy!

Seller’s Description:

“This 2011 Tesla Roadster 2.5 Sport was purchased new by the seller’s father in Colorado in November 2011 and was acquired by the seller in Arizona in May 2017. The car is finished in Radiant Red over black leather and is powered by a 375-volt AC induction motor paired with a single-speed transmission. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, air conditioning, a back-up camera, heated seats, 16″ and 17″ forged alloy wheels, an Alpine infotainment system with navigation, and AP Racing and Brembo braking components. This Tesla Roadster has 1,300 miles and is offered at no reserve in Colorado with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The styling of the Roadster was refreshed for the 2011 model year and changes included a revised front fascia and rear diffuser. The chassis was based on the Lotus Elise, and the carbon-fiber bodywork of this example is finished in Radiant Red. Exterior details include a removable soft-top roof panel, an integrated rear spoiler, a back-up camera, Sport badging, and exposed carbon fiber on the roof bow.

Black 16″ and 17″ forged alloy wheels are wrapped in 175/55 front and 225/45 rear Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 tires. Sport models featured an improved double-wishbone suspension with adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with AP Racing front calipers, Brembo rear brake pads, and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The car also features a regenerative braking system.

The cockpit features heated black leather bucket seats with Tesla embroidery as well as color-coordinated trim and floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an Alpine infotainment system with navigation, a push-button gear selector, and power windows and door locks.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a gauge for kW usage. An auxiliary information screen is located in the center stack. The digital odometer shows approximately 1,318 miles.

The 375-volt AC induction motor is paired with a 53-kWh battery pack and features a hand-wound stator. Factory-rated output was 288 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a single-speed direct-drive transmission.
