Tesla Refreshes Model S and X!
The Tesla Model S and Model X have received long suspected updates. They both feature exterior styling refinements, and all new interiors. The base model of each continues to be the dual-motor Long Range, but the dual-motor Performance model has been replaced by a three-motor Plaid designation. In the case of the Model S, it also receives a Plaid + version, featuring even longer range and higher performance. Production of the Plaid + has been moved from the end of 2021, to sometime in Q1. Back to the interiors, the vertical orientation center display is out, replaced by a horizontal Cinema Display. Both cars keep the small display behind the steering wheel as well, and gain a display in the back seat offering wireless game controller support for on the go entertainment. The new steering wheel is borrowed from the second generation Tesla Roadster concept, and wouldn’t look out of place in an episode of Knight Rider. I’ve long been a fan of the Model S, and just think the updated styling in and out looks incredible!
