Electric Cars: The Ultimate Guide Review
Today I finished reading Electric Cars The Ultimate Guide 2020 Edition by Keith Chamberlain. I purchased it from Amazon last summer, but hadn’t gotten around to reading it until recently. I assume it would be a very interesting book for someone new to EVs. As someone who is more familiar with the topic, it appeared to be geared more towards the EV curious, rather than those who already own an electric vehicle. Having said that, I still found it to be a worthwhile read, nicely gathering what could be days of research to some new to electric cars into 115 curated pages. Chapter 9 is an EV buyers guide, but as is often the case with printed materials, much of the information presented has changed from the time of print to the present. I’d suggest skipping straight to the tenth chapter. Also, the author is based in the UK, meaning some information is inaccurate based on regional range ratings, pricing and the like. Overall though, I liked the book, and will pass my copy along to one of my EV curious friends to relatives. If you would like to gain a broad understanding of electric cars and don’t already own one, check it out. Enjoy!
