Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept
In honor of it’s 100th birthday, Bentley premiered the EXP 100 GT Concept. Don’t think of it as a precursor for a particular vehicle, but as an expression of where Bentley is headed in the next 100 years. Why are we covering it here? Because it’s all electric, and in the books, James Bond used to drive a Bentley. Bentley is a part of the VW group, and as such, has access to all the EV engineers they could ever ask for. The concept is “predicted” to have a range of up to 434 miles. Also, it’s fully autonomous, with the option to be driven if the owner feels up for a lark. It’s stunning looking, though pretty might be a stretch. Historically, Bentley’s have stood out, but tried to be less imposing looking than a Rolls-Royce. I believe this vehicle toes over that line ever so slightly. In the end, it’s just a flight of fancy, but a flight we are intrigued by nonetheless. Photos, videos and press release below, enjoy!
