What Does Toyota Have Against EVs? - Green Car Reports Hypothesizes.
Green Car Reports piece is not the first on this topic, nor likely will it be the last. Toyota very famously advertises that they choose not to plug in. I believe that they do so at their peril. Toyota has sold 2 generations of the RAV4 crossover as a battery electric vehicle in California. They sell a small three-wheeled EV called the I-Road in France and Japan, and have shown some fun all-electric concept vehicles, but despite this, Toyota has no plans for a pure electric vehicle for North America in the next several years.
