Tokyo 2019 - Toyota E-Racer Concept

Toyota has yet to release an all-electric car in the United States, but has offered two generations of the Toyota Prius that were able to be plugged in. For this year’s Tokyo Auto Show, they have several EV concepts on display. Our favorite of these is the Toyota E-Racer Concept. I can’t imagine that they are likely to build it, but it would be an incredibly fun little runabout, and a spiritual successor to the MR-2. It’s an attractive proposition, combining the thrill of a video game, and the handling of a go kart. Enjoy!
