Super Bowl EV Commercials-2022

By now you may have seen all of these already, but if not, I rounded up all the electric vehicle related commercials from the super bowl below. General Motors made an homage to the Soprano’s with their electric Chevrolet Silverado ad, and posted a behind the scenes look as well. They also paid tribute to one of my favorite series of movies, the Austin Powers franchise, with Mike Myers in the role of Dr. EV-il. Loved it! Kia made me love a robot dog (I’m allergic to real dogs), and Hyundai gave us a tour though history with Jason Bateman. Volvo-owned Polestar’s ad is free of superstar cameo’s and all the better for it. BMW gave us Arnold Schwarzenegger as Zeus to promote the BMW iX. The last two commercials feature EVs, but are more whole brand focused, as both Porsche and Nissan put their electric offerings front and center with some other vehicles in their respective line-ups.
