From the Fully Charged YouTube channel:
“Kids, corporates, creatives lend us your ideas!” We're looking for you to make the 'Best EV Ad Ever', and the best entrants will appear, 'fully credited' on our million subscriber channel in February 2025. More than that, they will be made available to the world, open-source, for sharing, AND for 'switching people on' to the benefits of battery electric vehicles. We can't wait to see your ad (deadline 31.1.25). Details below: Have there been any really great EV adverts yet? We're not so sure... the TV-style advert at the end of this episode is the best example we can think of that truly captures the positive experience of EVs. But to get to the masses, we need to massage the message, and perhaps even inspire a public information campaign which simultaneously sells the benefits of battery EVs, & slays myths too. So we’re looking for 60 sec video adverts (more details of our brief below), but not only that, kid’s posters and agency print ads too; all formats you can think of will be welcome! We will display the best of the best on the Fully Charged Show & share them as widely across the world as we can too! Specifics of 60 sec video adverts: • 60 seconds or less promoting BEVs (battery electric vehicles) • looking for landscape (for YouTube) and/or portrait (for TikTok) etc • looking for balance of benefits BUT without wild exaggeration (or BS) • please be sure to add your shareable social handle on any end slates Send your ads to competition@electricvehicles.uk no later than midnight on the 31st January 2025. And while you’re here, don’t forget to check out the all new ElectricVehicles.Expert* website.
