Sinclair C5 to be displayed at the Michigan International Auto Show

I am not sure when I first heard about the Sinclair C5, but it was years ago. Ever since, I have been smitten with the little beasts. As you can probably tell from my recent Honda Motocompacto obsession, I tend to get drawn to the odd and unusual vehicles. So what is a Sinclair C5? It’s a single seat electric “vehicle” with an onboard generator (read human) that can provide pedal power once the 15 miles of range has been depleted. They were a commercial flop, but one that I would love to own 40 years later. If you would like to see one in person, head down to DeVos Place this weekend and check out Electric Avenue at the Michigan International Auto Show.
