Aptera Solar EV Drag Races a Tesla and an Audi!

Aptera, makers of an upcoming three-wheeled solar EV, decided to have a bit of fun after some beta testing, and staged a drag race. As it was just for fun, they don’t give out many details on the participants. There are 4 vehicles total. The slowest is a Tesla Model 3, not sure if its even a dual motor or not? Then an Alpha prototype Aptera. There are both beaten by an Audi R8, again, not specs given. The Audi is just bested by a hair by an Aptera Beta prototype. This is a company I have been watching for a long time, all the way back to their original incarnation. I am very tempted by the idea of an all (3) wheel drive solar powered EV with a range of up to 1,000 miles. And it has an optional tent for the back!
