A quick note before we get to our usual Saturday news roundup. The Electric Mitten will be quiet for the next few days as we take a bit of time off for some summer family fun. We will return later in the week with any EV news we may have missed. We now return you to the Saturday Surge.

Surging this week: Jaguar has updated the 2022 I-Pace with faster charging and improved infotainment. Aptera has released a new video showing off its solar powered 3-wheeler (with optional tent). Teslarati has discovered some trailer related images in the Cybertruck’s UI. One Lego fan has built a small working Hummer EV out of the bricks. At the Model S Plaid event, Tesla also had a Model X Plaid on display. And finally, Piaggio has unveiled their next electric scooter after the Vespa Elettrica, enjoy!
