Hyundai Ioniq 5 US Premiere

Hyundai Ioniq 5 US Premiere

Today was the digital premiere of the US spec Hyundai IONIQ 5. It appears that the US version won’t differ much from the European version that we have already featured here a few times. Thats great, because the IONIQ 5 is just about perfect as it is. Hyundai were kind enough to confirm a few important details for us today. The IONIQ 5 will be offered with rear or all-wheel drive, will travel up to 300 miles per charge, and can recharge at blazing fast speeds. It can also tow 1500 pounds, which isn’t a ton (pun intended) but is more than many EVs are rated to pull. Overall, I find Hyundai’s newest EV to be a really compelling package, and will definitely be checking it out in person as soon as I can. You can watch the premiere for yourself below, and please check out the galleries as well, enjoy!
