Formula E Diecast Found at Meijer!
While the keen eyed observer has probably already spotted the occasional HotWheels Formula E car, yesterday I stumbled on this little beauty! Before opening it, I took a moment to appreciate that the plastic packaging looks like a driver’s helmet. I chose the Mahindra livery because I liked the colors, but my local Meijer also had the Geox Dragon, Rokit Venturi, and generic Gen 2 liveries as well. They are priced at $4.99 each. They seem very well made, and more detailed than the aforementioned HotWheels die cast. It’s very exciting to see electric car toys in the wild, hopefully inspiring the next generation to embrace our electric future. Now if I could only find one of those Tesla Model X Matchbox cars with the opening rear doors… Enjoy!
“Majorette Formula E Deluxe Gen 2 Cars: When the children's room becomes a racetrack.
With the Majorette Formula E Edition, Majorette becomes part of the modern racing series of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. The special thing about this? The formula cars with electric motors hold world championships on temporary street circuits around the world. The races are closed, the event characters are not only something for racing enthusiasts, but are fun for the whole family. Of course, the well-known Formula-E Mahindra shouldn't be missing. The vehicles are in the other FIA design and with great attention to detail. The toy cars come with rubber tires and a decrease in the shape of a helmet. On the accompanying collection box, the driver's picture, signature and details of the vehicle can be found. The new Formula E line from Majorette is a must-have for every racing fan in the age of 3 years.”
