Doug DeMuro reviews the Lucid Air

Doug drives the Lucid Air Dream Edition, and ranks it’s Dougscore as a tie with the Tesla Model S Plaid, and 1 point ahead of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. He also feels those two vehicles are the Lucid’s biggest competition at the moment. It is more expensive than the Plaid, but has 130 miles more range, and is more luxurious. At $170,000 USD, it is quite easily more affordable than a Taycan Turbo S depending on options, and is much roomier and more comfortable, than the performance oriented Porsche EV. The dark horse competitor would be the Mercedes EQS, which he thinks is more luxurious than the Air, but sacrifices performance. Having never driven any of them myself, if I won the lottery, I probably pick the Lucid Air, and a Taycan GTS wagon. Enjoy!
