EV Dragster hits 201 MPH in the 1/4 Mile!

Last July we told you about Don Garlits hitting a world record 189 MPH in an all-electric dragster. That record has now been taken by Steve Huff, topping it by 12 MPH for a new record of 201.07 MPH. I cannot begin to imagine what it must feel like to go from 0-200MPH in the distance from my house to the bus stop. A few months ago I got to ride shotgun in a Tesla Model S P90D Ludicrous, and was treated to several violent take offs from 0-60, and that wasn’t half as fast as this dragster!
