Chicago 2020 - PHEVs
Today’s post is comprised of all of the plug-in hybrid electric vehicles from companies that don’t also offer a full electric vehicle, or didn’t have their EV at the show. For all the manufacturers that make and brought a full EV to the 2020 Chicago Auto Show, there is an individual post already. We applaud any offering with a plug, we just happen to like full electric vehicles more. Please enjoy!
Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle - 32 Miles EPA EV Only Range.
FCA North America used the 2020 edition of the Chicago Auto Show to unveil the facelifted 2021 Chrysler Pacifica minivan. In addition to the rhinoplasty, going forward the Hybrid will become a powertrain option across the various family hauler trims, rather than a stand alone model as it has been so far. One of the trims that will be available as a plug-in hybrid is the also new for 2021 Pinnacle trim level. The highlight of the Pinnacle trim is quilted leather seating with Mercedes-Maybach style pillows. No powertrain changes for the PHEV were announced.
