Amazon Orders 100,000 Delivery Vans From Rivian

Amazon has placed an order for 100,000 Rivian cargo vans, these are in addition to the large investment that Amazon made in Rivian earlier in the year. No details on the powertrain were given, but it is was confirmed that it will be related to what will be powering the awesome R1T and R1S. The first vans are supposed to be out for delivery in 2021, with 10,000 on the road by 2022, and all 100,000 making the rounds by 2030. These vehicles are being built exclusively for Amazon, however, I find it hard to believe that Rivian won’t offer something similar, should someone else ask them to make a bunch. Regardless, once these start hitting the used car market, I want to turn one into a class B motorhome!
