Consumer Reports Heralds the Age of Electricity

Consumer Reports has put together a piece discussing the current state of EVs. They make many great points, one of which is that thanks to battery costs coming down, there are 5 brands offering EVs with more than 200 miles of range. By my count there are 11 vehicles, not including the upcoming Porsche Taycan, for sale in the United States with an all-electric range of more than 200 miles. These vehicles take many forms and are priced from the mid $30,000s (before incentives), all the way up to, and beyond, the six figure mark. Consumer confidence of EVs is on the rise as well. In all, we may have finally reached the beginning part of the beginning of the end of internal combustion engines. The article is worth a read.
