Never Heard of It - Aspark Owl

While taking a quiz on DRIVETRIBE yesterday (“Which EV supercar are you?” ), I heard about the Aspark OWL for the first time. Unveiled at the 2017 Frankfort Motor Show, and still in development, the piece d’resistance is a 0-60 MPH time of less than 2 seconds. They are targeting a top speed of 174 MPH, and achieve those numbers  with only 430 horsepower. How you ask? Lightness is key here. Total vehicle weight is under 1900 lbs. But what abaout range? As you might expect, it is limited by the goal of keeping the OWL as light as possible. 93 miles is what’s quoted, but I’m not sure on which scale. They are taking preorders, if you’d like to own one of the 50 total they plan to build. Total price is estimated at the equivalent $3.6 million US.
