NAIAS 2019 - Genze 2.0s and One-Mile USA Folding Scooter

Tucked away at the back of the Mahindra display was our old friend, the Genze 2.0 by Mahindra. A few years ago, I rode a pre-production prototype at the factory in Ann Arbor, MI where they are made. I had a great time on it, and have included a link to that old article for your enjoyment.

In the basement of Cobo Center is the Automobili-D expo. There I stumbled upon the OneMile USA Halo folding electric scooter. Top speed of 16mph, range of 21 miles per charge. At the moment, OneMile USA is hoping to one day produce these scooters here in Detroit. By starting with an existing vehicle, I hope they are able to do so, as it was a blast to ride. Notice the helmet, carpeting is no excuse not to where one whenever you ride!
