Playthings, Etc. - Butler, PA

Billed as “The World’s Coolest Toy Store” by its owners, Butler, Pennsylvania’s Playthings, Etc. is a must see if you’re anywhere near the area. We drove an hour each way from Pittsburgh, PA to make the trek and don’t regret a single mile of the journey. What’s set this toy store apart from most isn’t even its most distinguishing feature. You’re encouraged to try stuff out before you buy, we easily spent an hour playing with stuff we didn’t even know existed before we walked through the thruster shaped doors. That’s right, the store is shaped like a stealth bomber! The staff are incredibly helpful, and not at all pushy. Really a great experience all around!
