On Friday, we began our journey back towards West Michigan. Thanks to heavy traffic on I-75 between Knoxville, TN and Lexington, KY we missed our targeted stops, and turned it into more of a driving day, making it all the way to Troy, OH. A note about Troy, we ended up at the Fairfield Inn right off of the highway, as they were $40 per night cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express across the way. I am so glad that we did, as the facility is great, and the staff are beyond wonderful. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and go out of their way to help! If you find yourself spending the night in Troy, OH give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
