Press Release:
Mitsubishi Motors Announces Pricing for Redesigned Next-Generation 2014 Outlander
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) has announced the pricing for the new 2014 Outlander, arriving in dealerships June 2013 and delivering a host of new enhancements which introduce a whole new level of fuel efficiency, safety, and convenient technology for the compact crossover at an exceptional value.
The all-new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander (ES trim level) will have a starting net MSRP* of only $22,995 and is expected to be one of the most fuel-efficient CUVs with standard 7-passenger seating in the North American marketplace with a manufacturer-estimated 31 mpg highway (ES and SE FWD models; pending EPA fuel mileage rating). The 2014 Outlander's new streamlined, aerodynamic design and high-tensile steel construction reduces the vehicle's weight by more than 200 pounds and reduces aerodynamic drag by 7% compared to the previous-generation model. These improvements combined with a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine equipped with a new smart MIVEC system mated to a standard Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and new ECO-mode contributes to the 2014 Outlander's enhanced efficiency.
An even more compelling value is the mid-range 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander SE with a starting net MSRP* of only $23,795 - priced $200 less than the outgoing previous-generation comparable model. Along with the expansive standard equipment package of the Outlander ES, the SE trim level adds welcome features including stylish 18-inch alloy wheels, 6.1-in. touch panel display CD/MP3 with HD Radio® audio system, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Mitsubishi's FUSE Handsfree Link System™ with USB port, FAST Key passive entry system with push-button engine ignition on/off switch, plus much more.
Additionally, the 2014 Outlander SE is available with Mitsubishi Motors' acclaimed Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) all-wheel drive system - a first for a mid-grade Outlander model in the company's history.
