Creating a Case for the Full-Size Wagon

Recently, Bold Ride posted a piece entitled "The Full-Size Station Wagon Manifesto". After reading it, I was flooded with memories of riding in the back of my parents' Ford Taurus Wagon, and how cool I thought it was to face rearward on road trips. In honor of those memories, I found a dealer that had a 1996 Ford Taurus Wagon with only 60,000 miles on it, and proceeded to load up the family to take it for a test-drive. I actually learned to drive in a collection of Tauri (at one point my family owned 4 of them), and enjoyed being behind the wheel of one again. I felt like I was 16! My six year old rode in the rear-facing third seat, and loved it. Even more so when we found an empty parking lot to drive around backwards in, so that she could "drive". I am posting a link to the manifesto below, but I should mention that Bold Ride occasionally uses coarse language.
