National Drive Electric Week - 2018

Sorry for the short notice, but this Summer has flown by! We have 2 events in West Michigan for National Drive Electric Week this year, and I could not be more thrilled!! Find details and links below:

Thursday, September 13 from 2-7 at Grand Rapids Tesla Supercharger

Please join us for a National Drive Electric Week event to speak with electric vehicle owners and get demo rides.  We are also engaging local car dealers to bring plug-in vehicles, so stay tuned to the event page for more.  The event will take place at the Meijer at I-96 and 28th St. in Grand Rapids near the Tesla Superchargers in the back of the parking lot.  For more discussion, also see the West Michigan EV enthusiast page:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/WestMichiganEV/

Saturday, September 15 from 11-2 at the Hastings Public Library

This event is at the LEED-certified Hastings Public Library and hosted by library staff and KEVA , a local group who receives sponsorship from the Southwest Michigan Group of the Sierra Club, Nissan, the Electric Auto Association and Plug in America .  Among the core value of KEVA is that real-life owners of electric vehicles are the best ambassadors of the electric car experience and benefits. 

Hastings is a good mid point for EV owners.  This event will be offering an EV panel of DIY and industry builders, real-world drivers, as well as distance travelers. This event is searching for someone with cross country road experience to sit in the panel.
